Residents at Peninsula are able to use their PCs and laptops in their bedrooms. By directly linking to the data point in their room and completing the self registration procedures, they are able to use the internet and TV streaming.

External wireless points around the residences and other wireless points around the campus can be also used by residents with laptops. Wireless access is continually improving around the campus so opportunities to study in non conventional environments are constantly increasing.

Residents are also able to access the 24/7 computer lab on campus via their student card once proximity access has been set up. Please contact the Residential Office for further details of this, including the opportunity for Monash Security to escort residents back home late at night.

Subject to availability, an older style decommissioned PC can be made available at no charge to residents who do not own a PC. Please ask at the Residential Office for further deatails.
