We have a range of different types of accommodation styles on our Clayton and Peninsula campuses – all with private rooms and a range of support services.
We can also provide advice and guidance for finding private rental accommodation off-campus. You can visit the off-campus advisory service for more information.
Fees include a private, fully-furnished bedroom, utilities (such as water, gas and electricity) and internet access – so it’s very competitive when compared with the private rental market.
Importantly, your son or daughter will also have access to a huge range of activities, residential support programs and events – included within the price. It’s an inclusive, supportive environment that helps students achieve high academic results and enjoy a well-rounded university experience.
We take safety very seriously, and we do whatever we can to provide a secure living environment that looks after the health, safety and general welfare of our residents. For more information about the range of initiatives we have in place, visit Safety & Security.
Because we’re bound by privacy laws, we’re restricted in the information about your son or daughter we can pass on to you, although we’ll endeavour to assist you as much as we can. If your child wants you to discuss their accommodation or personal information with us, they’ll need to give you permission by filling in a 'Residential Information Release Statement'.
You can find out more about what we can and cannot disclose to you by reading our privacy policy.
We’ll send out an invoice for the month’s rent at the beginning of each month to your child’s student email address. If you’re paying the bill, you’ll need to organise for them to forward it on to you. You have a full month to pay the bill.
Due to our privacy constraints, if you’d like to discuss your child’s rental invoice, they’ll need to submit a 'Residential Information Release Statement' beforehand.
For further information, have a read through our detailed example of an invoice.
