Monash Residential Services Postgraduate Merit Scholarships

One of Monash Residential Services’ mission goals is to provide and develop an environment within each location on campus which provides care, support and enrichment for the residential community in academic, cultural, personal, social and recreational matters.

The Monash Residential Services Postgraduate Merit Scholarships are provided to further the above divisional mission goal and to promote and engender a high academic environment at all Victorian on-campus residential sites.

Monash Residential Services Undergraduate Equity Bursaries

Monash Residential Services seeks to support the aims of Monash University’s Access Monash program, in particular to encourage students from ‘disadvantaged’ social groups to consider and succeed at university.  Monash Residential Services have established the Monash Residential Services Undergraduate Equity Bursaries to provide financial assistance for disadvantaged students who are current residents with Monash Residential Services but who are experiencing difficulties continuing their enrolled studies due to their inability to fund on-campus accommodation.

Monash Residential Services Higher Degree Research Merit Scholarships

One of Monash Residential Services’ mission goals is to provide and develop an environment within each location on campus which provides care, support and enrichment for the residential community in academic, cultural, personal, social and recreational matters.

The Monash Residential Services Higher Degree Research Merit Scholarships are provided to further the above divisional mission goal and to promote and engender a high academic environment at all Victorian on-campus residential sites.

Monash Sport bursaries

Starting from 2009, Monash Residential will join with Monash Sport in promoting the effort of student-athletes towards intellectual development and completion of their course regardless of their level of competition.

Working with Monash Sport, Monash Residential seeks:
(a) to promote one of its own mission goals i.e. 'to provide and develop an environment within each location on campus which provides care, support and enrichment for the residential community in academic, cultural, personal, social and recreational matters'; and
(b) to support Monash students undertaking / pursuing sporting excellence in parallel and in balance with their academic studies.
